Progress Report

I really, really need to study today, but I am incapable of motivation, so I am instead watching several consecutive episodes of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. My wife and another troublemaker who works with her are trying to get a third cow-orker on the show.

In hindsight, I think interacting with a real, live human being was taking more mental and emotional energy than I could muster at the time. But I'm better now, I think.

Woah. That's so crazy. I watched that show for the first time with Lux tonight. Really! And it inspired me to cook, so we looked up recipes in the book you got us. Yay!

Cool. What'd you think of the show? For that matter, what'd you think of the book?

The show is really hysterical. It might be fun to try to get on it, but I suspect I'm not really a good candidate.

The show was amusing. The fact that the fab five were funny made it.

So far, the book has been good. Though I put too much butter on the fish, it would have been better, drier.

You probably wouldn't be good for the show... sorry. You cook well and have a nice apartment.

I want to get tacologic on it, just so we can get a whole lot of free stuff, but I somehow doubt that he's tragic enough as well.

Exactly. The free stuff and the chance to go around New York and be bitchy sound really good, but we're not tragic enough. I like to think it's because we're naturally cool, but it's probably just because we have good women to keep us on the path.
