Because I have neglected to lose my job despite general economic brouhaha, I have to go to my company's main office in Provo for a few days in July.
As a team-building exercise, we are going to an amusement park on Wednesday--which will be less amusing than it could be because I will have awoken in time for the 7:10 AM flight from JFK, and will then have spent four hours hurtling through the stratosphere in a flimsy aluminum tube. Still, how can a theme park full of Mormons not be at least minimally amusing, right?
Then I spend all day Thursday and much of Friday being taught stuff I already know, before running to catch a 4:30 PM flight home.
I can conclude only that I am paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate.
