lawnrrdTonight's menu for a quiet dinner at home:
Salad
Lemon-ginger roast pork loin
(with garlic custard)
Wild rice
Stir-fried snow peas with scallions and toasted pine nuts
Fresh strawberries
We cook like this a lot, if we're both home.

Date: 2003-05-12 05:22 am (UTC)We usually save cooking like that for the weekends, too, but we sometimes get inspired during the week. It helps that I work at home, and can start simmering or roasting something before I stop working for the night.
