My Palm was just stolen at the supermarket. I am not happy.

UPDATE: Not really. A store employee walked off with my cart before I had taken my stuff out. The store manager just called to say they found it.

oh damn, that sucks. and you just got this one not so long ago, too (okay, okay, so maybe it was in december...but it feels like you just had to go through getting it replaced the last time).

i would offer something snarky, like "at least they didn't take your wrist too", but i'm sure someone else will chime in with that.

Heh. I have to use Windows for work, which sucks on several different levels, but at least it means that it's easy to sync my Palm with Outlook. I thus do it compulsively.

I have been using my palm without backing it up since I was the victim of a fire over a year ago. We were homeless/living out of a hotel for months. You might have seen my lover. She attended the con and did tarot reading...

How terrible about the fire! We are insured, but that's still one of our greatest fears. I hope you have been able to settle in to a new place.

While I am sure that I must have seen your lover, it didn't stick. At least, I don't specifically remember seeing anyone wielding tarot cards. Maybe next year.

The fire was in our 4 room apartment building and began across the hall from us. We were NOT insured so we had to tough it out in the condemed building until the renovators chased us out then it was the hotel until the renovations were done. We are insured NOW but it feels like that closing the barn door after the horses have run away kinna thing...
It did make for an intersting year...very educational ;-).
