Semi-Killer Instinct

Volleyball tonight. We crushed the other team, three games to none. I don't think they scored more than three points in any game. That brings us to nine wins and three losses for the season.

I think of myself as an insane competitive monster, but it got embarrassing tonight. At one point, I spiked the ball and it hit a woman right in the chest and knocked the wind out of her. In a competitive game, that would be cool. Tonight, it was just too much.

Oh, well. She wasn't hurt, and no one was angry or offended. Still, for the rest of the match, some of them would flinch every time I jumped to spike the ball. Ph34r m3.

It was a lot of fun, overall. <therapist-inspired-statement>And that fun was as least as authentic and important as anything that makes me unhappy.</therapist-inspired-statement>

Hey, there are playoffs involved. That makes it a competitive game. I think more acts of reckless abandon were preformed in pursuit of the inramural champion mugs at my college than the varsity teams in pursuit of national championships.

Oh, in that sense it was certainly a competitive game. When I say it wasn't competitive, I meant that the other team really ceased to constitute competition for us in any meaningful way. And then it started to feel like running up the score, which seems kind of uncool.

Oh, okay, I get it. Oh well. From what I've seen in your journal entries, your'e teams been a bit up-and-down, so, they probably figured you never knwo ehn your team will stated to chunk it and you need all the points you can get while the gettin's good.

Good jorb. We won too. I had about 25 kills. And no missed passes. 8D

But this guy on our team Jorge broke his ankle and is probably out for the season. Rough beats.

Oh, and if you guys are ever short, I'd love to be the ringer. ;^)
