While I tend to be skeptical of stories of deathbed recantations (and try to be more skeptical than I am), the fact is that I really, really hope that this one is true.
I get the impression that, like Machiavelli, there are a great many things done by "Keynesians" that would horrify the man.
I've had Skidelsky's most recent bio near the top of my queue for a while, pretty much ever since I discovered he (Keynes) used to run money, in addition to pontificating. It might be fun to read it together.
It might be fun at that, although my queue is pretty much stalled while I try to make myself finish my main current reading. That's kind of why my list of books read hasn't changed in a while.
