It's been so long since I've managed to exercise regularly that I had forgotten how it feels to be hungry all the time. In a process akin to algolagnia, I'm trying to experience the feeling as accomplishment and pride, but, really, I'm just hungry.

So are you truly more hungry? Maybe the increased activity does mean you're burning more calories and needing more food...

For me, a 30 to 60 minute run burns about 300 to 600 calories. So I'd need more calories but I end up feeling hungrier than that. My body feels like it wants to consume lots more extra calories. Or maybe it just wants that extra 300 to 600 calories and I'm just tacking on the desires for more calories on top of that....

Anyhow, so I was wondering if you were physically hungry or psychologically hungry. I get psychologically hungry often whenever I'm bored and will wander around the kitchen trying to think up what kind of a snack I could fix up. A perfect roast turkey with gravy and stuffing would go down nicely now....
