I haven't really been on LJ much lately for posting or reading. I feel as though I'm too busy, but on reflection, I just have felt too impatient for it.

Generally, this is a bad sign. When I get really impatient like this, it usually means that I'm anxious about something, even if I don't notice it directly.

Admittedly, there's a lot to be anxious about these days, but things are actually going reasonably well. My job is going well, and my firm is doing well enough that it's posting help-wanted ads in various legal publications. My marriage is not particularly stressful these days, either.

My Powerbook just died, and replacing it is an expense I really would rather not have had, but it does give me an excuse to buy a new machine, which should arrive tomorrow.

So, really I'm fine, and, to my friends, I hope you're not offended if I've fallen behind on the details of your lives.
