respect of a kind...

I can't find any circles I'm willing to check off. And here's the reason why-- one of my housemates recently viewed "Deuce Bigelow II"-- I'm not sorry to say that I missed the majority of the movie experience, but I did happen to walk into the room for a period of time while they were watching a 'making of' documentary.

And I found myself coming to a level of grudging admiration for Schneider's fearlessness and unselfconsciousness in displaying a complete lack of dignity and self-respect in front of a production crew.

It still doesn't make him a good actor or his movies funny-- but watching him pratfall and rubberface his way through a completely degrading scene made me think "Damn, that seems like it would be really hard to do. Especially for repeated takes..."

I guess he must put his dignity and self-respect into a safe deposit box during filming, and takes them out between movies. I know I sure couldn't do it.

Oh wait, did you change the choices, or was I suffering a brief bout of poor reading comprehension?

I can go with #3.

The Rob-inator. Rob-atollah. Rob.

You're missing at least one choice. I think Rob Schneider is funny when he has funny stuff written for him to do. Unfortunately, that really hasn't been the case much recently.

Hey, how about "I think Rob Schneider has been funny on occasion, generally in the company of funnier people, but if you think I'm going to go out of my way to watch him you're nuts"?
