Thanksgiving used to mean a single evening spent relaxing with lots of good food, football on television, and tolerably inane familial prattle. It has become four days of nearly non-stop annoyance and deep boredom.
*nods* I can understand. When I met Mark I actually didn't celebrate 'Thanksgiving' I called it "kill all the Native Americans and take thier land and wipe out an entire people day" I boycotted it actually and normally had chinese food. We did that the first year we were together but this whole "family" thing means a lot to him so I've learned that I can enjoy the whole being with family aspect and whatnot. I miss my chinese food on this day though all the resturants were empty it was awsome ;)
