Dude, I Suck

A new volleyball season started last night. Four of the better people from my old team are on this one, plus some new people. We're a much better team in a worse division, so we should do well.
Except we lost three straight games last night. I have yet to win a game since I started playing competitive volleyball.
I mostly blame myself for losing the second game. We had a big lead, and I was in the middle of the back row--and my control went straight to hell. The volleyball was flying everywhere except to our setter. We lost, 15-14. I suck.

The Urban Professionals league holds open play on Friday nights, and costs $10 for 3 1/2 hours of play. I've also heard that there's a similar deal on Sundays at Columbia Grammar & Prep, but I haven't been able to check it out yet.

I've seen worse--I wasn't playing in the match, but I once saw a ref use "rally" scoring in the third game of a match that was running very late.
I don't really like it when they do stuff like that, but I can see their side, too.
