what's a jotter card for? I Googled but it just looks like a card about the size of a business card.

Well, a jotter holds small notes or cards and provides a stiff, flat writing surface. I carry it in my jacket pocket. A jotter card, similarly, is a card—in this case, a 3x5 card—that fits in a jotter, and you write notes on it. I ordered a set with my name on them.

Oh, I do that, too. But I don't usually carry junk mail around with me.

You wouldn't need to carry it with you -- junk mail is EVERYWHERE! :)
