Weekend Update

lawnrrdThis was a good weekend. My wife was in Chicago, so I had to amuse myself.

reive's housewarming party and met a lot of fun people, most of whom have already talked about the party in their journals. The food was good, the cake was from Magnolia bakery (purveyor of cupcakes to my wedding), and I brought a bottle of wine, which was greatly enjoyed by many people, all of whom were at least 21 years old. I also got to discuss the serial comma, which almost never happens.
Saturday, I somehow slept until 1:30 in the afternoon. This left barely enough time to go shopping at the Greenmarket, work out, and catch Secretary, of which I have already written. I decided to stay in Saturday night because I needed a break.
Sunday I worked on household tasks, watched football, and went to the gym. The big accomplishment was fixing some lights on our ceiling that haven't worked since we moved in a year ago. Next, the leaky faucet.
