I have been awfully derelict about updating my LJ recently. Lauren and I are OK, for at least one or two values of "OK". Money is tight because of Leo's previous and upcoming operations, which we are now fighting with the insurance company about. Lauren and I are working very hard. Leo is OK, but he's a one-year-old boy.

The upshot is that stringing consecutive sentences together for LJ has been a little beyond me. But I'm reading and trying to keep up with what you are doing. I miss you guys.

Don't worry about it. We know life is more insane than usual for all of you right now. We'll still be here when you have some breathing time.

And you're not missing anything in my life: school, sleep, long periods of staring blankly at a wall. Boy is now working 8am-midnight every weekday, and usually has grading and such to do on the weekends. This trend will continue for at least four weeks.
