Reprieve

The dreaded weekend plans—which were a camping trip in an alcohol-free state park with my in-laws and extended family—have been rained out. I cannot tell you how happy we are to stay home this weekend.

Last night, we had dinner at Good, in the West Village, then went to Magnolia Bakery to pick up cupcakes for the now-aborted camping trip. On leaving, I bumped into rachelkb and some friends.

Somehow my wife and I have found ourselves going to a christening this morning. Don't ask; I don't really understand it yet, either.

I've been feeling very sexy lately. Most of the time. I mention this only because it's new to me. I rarely feel sexy and never for more than, say, five minutes at a stretch. Maybe it's the antidepressants.
