My Son, the Genius

Leo slept through the night for the first time last night. This is in contrast to Friday and Saturday nights, which were the first two nights of sleep-training him. This involves putting him to bed at night and then coming back only after 6 AM. Friday night, he had two stretches of vigorous crying, each about an hour long. Saturday night he cried, off-and-on, for about an hour. Last night, he slept straight through. This is good for all of us.

In other news, as of this weekend he can now roll over and is apparently a couple of months early in learning how to do that. He desperately wants to sit up, too, but so far all he can manage is to do a few crunches.

If he keeps up with the crunches, he's gonna have one helluva 6 pack and be the envy of all the other babies.

What a good kid. As a reward, you should feed him today.
Thinking about that a moment, perhaps not you feeding him, rather he should be fed.
