Happy Hanukkah

This is my life: I discovered that Hanukkah had begun when Lauren got up from her nap last night, at which point she summoned me to the living room, lit candles, and gave me a copy of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. This means that I owe her thanks, and I may also owe eleanor yet another apology. Sorry, dear.

This time, I think, it's because you invited us over for latkes. I said we were interested, but I never got back to you because I forgot when Hanukkah was.
