I'm spending next week near Seattle. (Actually, in Olympia.) Any suggestions for while I'm there?

Olympia is one of my favorite places - sure, it's (yawn) the state capital, but the setting's gorgeous. Gotta car? See about heading up the Olympic Peninsula along U.S. 101, at the edge of the Hood Canal (which is a natural body of water - an arm of Puget Sound). You're also not that far from Mt. Rainier, but I think the drive to Olympic NP is prettier.
