Tonight, just after a modern dance performance that my wife had dragged me to:

Me:	You know, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't hate that.
Mrs. Lawnrrd:	I knew you weren't going to hate it as much as you could have.
Me:	Why?
Mrs. Lawnrrd:	Because I didn't like it.

 

I am beginning to suspect that a big part of a successful marriage is simply knowing where you stand.
