Chappy Challoween

Last night was mostly OK, which, while hardly good enough, is still better than it could have been. After dinner, though, we sat down and watched Rich Kids, which was even more boring than I thought it would be—although everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

We got home shortly before midnight, took out the trash, and lit our Jack-o-lanters. And then we spent about an hour standing on our fire escape, watching the costumed people go up and down Broadway.

Today is a working around the house day, I think. We have massive piles of things to drop off at the thrift shop, and they have to be got rid of before I leave for Ohio. We're about a week behind in the laundry department. I also have a giant pile of papers on my desk, and there may be some bills in there I have forgotten to pay. Besides that, a friend who is running the marathon tomorrow will be arriving any minute with his wife, and they will be spending the night.

With all that, I must also somehow find a way to go to the gym and another way to see roadnotes before I vanish into the flat part of the country.

Glad you had fun on Halloween. APT was really cool. I was kind of skeptical going in, but it turned out to be fun.

Next Saturday is my birthday party, will you be attending?

I expect to show up, although I don't know when or for how long. Lauren may want to spend some time alone with me for some reason.
