Today, I had a lovely lunch with eleanor. And then this afternoon, I had coffee with xrew, and I got home five minutes ago. Within a minute after I returned home, my boss called, asking me to join him and some cow-orkers at Morton's steakhouse in Midtown in an hour. From there, I have plans to meet roadnotes for a drink after she finishes work.

You know, I've had months with less socializing than this.

I'm surprised there isn't a televised execution or something. But I'm also sure that if you hang around the hot tub long enough, you'll find something to do.

And aside from the the fact that I have no public crushes, and aside from the other fact that the whole point of a public crush is that everyone knows about it, there is the fact that you are my wife's friend from way back.
