Mrs. Lawnrrd gave her official two weeks' notice at her job today. In October, she will start work at Business Week. She is also getting a very nice bump in pay.
We're very excited. She's doing essentially the same thing, as I understand it, but the rhythms will change because she's moving from a monthly publication to a weekly one.
There will be no moving involved. The new job is on the N,R,W, as her old one was, but the new one is one stop closer to our home. This is good, but it also means she loses her Q privileges.
The only real drawback I can see is that I had just renewed my subscription to Business Week, and now I can get it for free.
Yes, we think so too. But she's nervous because she's been with the same organization for nine years or something, so it's sudden instability in what has been a very stable part of her life.
