Camp

Last night, Lauren and I went to see Camp, and we loved it. Some people on my friends list need to stop whatever it is they're doing, right now, and go see this movie. The rest of you can wait until tonight or Sunday.

Thursday was mostly commemoration-free, as I felt the universal presence of the memory was already like spending all day in a memorial service. I had coffee with evangelisa, and we had a good talk about a lot of things. That night, Lauren and I had dinner, then I went to Rose's. I stayed much later than I had intended to because certain people wouldn't let me leave until I sang. I suppose that's a compliment, so I don't really mind.

Also on Thursday, I got a new prescription for Flonase, and I am deperately waiting for it to kick in.

To be serious for as short a time as possible, it means a lot to me to hear you say that. But that's also the sort of comment that could make a man throw his life away and try to get a new one in front of a microphone.

Which brings me back to Camp. If you really want to know what you can say, may I suggest, "I can't talk any more. I'm running out the door to see Camp."

Maybe I can get my bald friends to go to the movies with me today, since other outdoor-type plans are obvioiusly right out.
