Thursday I went to piano bar and had a wonderful, raucous time. At least twice, I nearly made![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
roadnotes spray her beverage out of her nose, which makes it a successful evening. I also got starkyld to join us for the first time. I also met the interesting, lovely, and talented janoux, and her boyfriend and another friend of theirs, all of whom were visiting from Virginia. And then, of course, the usual suspects were there, too.
I need to find another piano bar song.
Friday I took it easy at work, because I needed to do so on many different levels. Friday evening, my wife got back from Washington, D.C. We babysat an old roommate for a while (longish story), then went out for a while. My wife's friend is in a band, and they were in town and playing at the Cutting Room, so we saw the show. Then we stopped very briefly at the Slipper Room to wishbrooklyngirl a happy birthday.
I'm not feeling well; I think my hay fever now tends to manifest itself as low-grade flu, rather than as a stuffy nose.
Tonight is a birthday party for a volleyball teammate at Lucky Cheng's (my wife will be at the opening of a friend's play), then we all meet later at a party-for-no-reason a friend is putting together.
