Still Waiting for my Owl

Yesterday was a very yucky Sunday, and we went to see the new installment of Harry Potter and the Lucrative Franchise. All things considered, I think the movie rates a "perfectly adequate," but I'm averaging things.

Most of Life Is Just Showing Up

Volleyball tonight. We were in fifth place, at 9-9. We were scheduled to play a team tied for second place, making up a match that had been postponed earlier in the season. They had only three players, though, which meant they forfeited the first two games of the match. We played a game for fun until they got a fourth player, which was enough for them to compete, then won the nominal third game. Our record is now 12-9.

Tomorrow night is our regularly scheduled game against the team in first place. We are playing well, and I am hopeful.
