First Post!

I thought livejournal was pretty cool, but I didn't know what I'd do about keeping filled with juicy tidbits about my life. Then I broke my hand, and I thought that discussing my treatment and gradual recovery would be an interesting introduction to this. So I signed up.

Now I realize that with a heavy cast on my left hand, I don't want to type very much. But let's see what happens anyway.
