Whenever I pick up a grapefruit, I feel an odd compulsion to hurl in some direction or other. It's not that I bear some hidden loathing for grapefruits or that they inspire some particular feeling of aggression. They just fit into my hand perfectly, with just the right weight so that they seem like an ideal thing to fling at whatever may need to have something flung at it. All of which means, I suppose, that I'm insane.

Speaking of which, we have just tinkered with my meds. I have been taking Serzone for several months, and I now garnish it with a hint of Wellbutrin. We'll see what happens.

i have a similar compulsion to throw shoes at people speaking before large gatherings, particularly pastors. and i'm being entirely serious about this. have felt like that since i was a child.
