This is mostly a stick-around-the-house-and-do-chores day today. So far, I have:
- Sorted the laundry and washed two loads
- Went to the mailbox place and picked up my video course and various other items, like anniversary cards from people who didn't notice our change-of-address cards.
- Picked up shims from the lumberyard, and finally leveled my wife's dresser.
- Bought a new bird feeder at Petco and hung it from the fire escape.
- Compulsively checked LiveJournal over and over in the desperate hope that someone, anyone is writing about something interesting.
Still to do:
- Straighten up the apartment.
- Change the bed sheets.
- Take care of some of the million things on my personal to-do list.
- Go to the gym and lift heavy things.
- Call the sanitation department and remind them that, once again, they have failed to pick up our trash and recycling.
