A Great Night, Just Me and . . . Uh, Me

Well, Mrs. Lawnrrd is currently out of town for the weekend with her friends, leaving me to my own devices. (Actually, most of my devices I actually bought for her, but that's another story.)

Today was just a blah, unfocused, unproductive day. I think I just decided I needed a day off. The flip side of that is that I'm now going to be working all weekend. I can live with that.

So it's been a late night. I went to the gym late, I took myself out to dinner late, then I went home, poured a glass of wine, got high, and watched Apocalypse Now Redux (the newest director's cut of Apocalypse Now). I'm just stunned. Well, just stunned and very tired.

I just finished reading Peter Biskind's Easy Riders, Raging Bulls. I'm going to be on a movie kick for a while, I think.
